ISKO Italy in perspective.
An analysis of the 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023 meetings from the ontological, epistemological and sociological dimensions of the domains

This study analyzes four ISKO Italy meetings in order to identify which domain dimensions prevail in the presented works. The characterization of the domains is understood in the ontological, epistemological, and sociological dimensions, based on Hjørland and Hartel (2003). Thus, the objective is to analyze the works presented in the ISKO Italy chapters, in the light of these dimensions. Therefore, the question is: how can the dimensions of the domains presented by Hjørland and Hartel (2003) be perceived in the themes addressed in the ISKO Italy chapters? The bibliographic and documentary research, of a qualitative nature, provides the methodological basis for the work, which, together with the content analysis procedures, allowed the categorization of the presented works, based on the dimensions of the domains. The results show a movement of consolidation of themes focused on the reality of researchers involved in strengthening theoretical, methodological and applied studies in Knowledge Organization.
